Study support groups
Small, peer-led groups meet regularly to practise conversation, prepare for exams such as Cambridge certificates and university finals, and work through set texts together. Experienced members mentor newcomers.

English-language theatre
Members write, direct and perform plays and cabaret evenings in English — from classics to original scripts — building fluency, confidence and teamwork on stage.

Creative writing contest
Our annual contest invites poetry and prose in English. A jury of members and academics selects winners in each category, celebrated at a public award evening.

Readings, workshops & open mics
Workshops on academic writing, translation and public speaking, alongside open mic nights where members read their own work in front of a supportive audience.
